Global Convertible Issuance: 2019 is “Top of the Tens”

17th January 2020

2019 sees highest convertible issuance for a decade

The “Tens” saved their best until last, with global convertible issuance of USD 128.5 billion for 2019, the highest for both the decade and post financial crisis. You have to go back to 2007 for the last time that issuance surpassed that (at USD 162.8 bil). 2001 and 2004 are the only other years so far this century to beat 2019’s total.
